I am an engineering graduate with a background in Power Plant Engineering Technology, building a career in corporate decarbonization. My work sits at the intersection of energy, emissions, and data. I am using an engineering mindset to understand how operational activities translate into greenhouse gas emissions.
I approach decarbonization problems through data-driven analysis and root-cause thinking: examining activity data, identifying emission drivers, testing assumptions, and translating findings into practical opportunities for emissions reduction and resource efficiency.
My current focus is developing deeper expertise in GHG accounting, emissions analysis, energy efficiency, renewable energy integration, and decarbonization strategy.
An independent reconstruction of Unilever Indonesia’s reported Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions using publicly disclosed activity data, emission factors, documented assumptions, and formula-based calculations.
The analysis tested whether the reported 94.34% emissions-reduction claim could be independently reproduced, while examining baseline consistency and Scope 2 disclosure.
94.34% — Reported Scope 1 & 2 reduction claim replicated
0 tCO₂e — 2025 Scope 2 market-based emissions after I-REC retirement
80% — Renewable energy share in 2025
The reported reduction claim was reproducible, but the disclosure remains incomplete.
The analysis identified a difference between the baseline used for the reduction claim and the baseline presented in the GHG table, as well as the absence of publicly reported Scope 2 location-based emissions.
Reconstructed Scope 1 & 2 emissions from publicly disclosed activity data.
Mapped activity data to applicable emission factors.
Documented assumptions where company-specific information was unavailable.
Built formula-based calculations with automated QA/QC checks.
Compared independently reconstructed results with company-reported figures.
Identified baseline consistency and Scope 2 disclosure gaps.
Independent reconstruction from publicly available data — not official Unilever figures and not a formal audit.
My current focus is using energy and operational data to understand emissions and identify practical decarbonization options.
